  The ONLY good thing about this place is that they will manage to fit you in....but by God they will make you pay for it. A month ago I went there as I had a hole in my exhaust that had gotten louder. They originally said it was my 'rear' muffler which my car do without - therefore it was only going to cost around $120-$130. However, "upon closer inspection" it seemed they were incorrect and so I needed a new muffler - all up, it cost me $300 cash.

  Yesterday, my left front wheel bearing crapped out, so I rang them and they told me to take it there first thing the following morning...so I did. I later get a phone call telling me that the bearing is crapped out and this in turn took out my brake drum and that my brake pads and discs are almost scrubbed out and the ball joints are gone etc etc and that it was going to cost $860 in repairs. Knowing that my car probably could not drive another kilometre without my wheel actually falling off (the grinding was that bad), I authorized them to do the work.

  On the way home however, I noticed the car now drifts to the left when hands are taken off the steering wheel - which it never used to.. Rang them and told them and was met with stuff like "THEM - it should not do that...only reason I can think off is that your car had a wheel alignment done when the ball joints/tyres were out of whack...and now we have put new parts on the car, THAT is why it now pulls to the left." "ME - well irrespective of why it nows does it, I assumed my $860 would mean I got my car back with it driving perfectly straight as it was before the repairs". "THEM - well we don't do wheel alignments here...we usually send cars that need that done to Goodyear and have it done". "ME - and how much does that normally cost?" "THEM - around $40." "ME - so are you prepared to have my car go to Goodyear for a wheel alignment and pay for that?" "THEM - .....well, it MIGHT be an air bubble in the power steering, or that the camber of the road made it pull to the left, or maybe it needs running over a little bit of a rough road surface till it 'settles'. Give it a drive around for a few days and it it doesn't 'settle' by then give us a ring and we'll see what we can do!"

  Late that same day I got the phone call to say that my car was ready to be picked up. Because I have emphysema I asked it it would be possible for one of them to drive my car to come and collect me and I would drive them back to the business and pay them their $860 but I was told that that isn't their 'policy', and besides, they didn't have someone spare who they could spare to come and get me....suggested I catch a taxi...to which I replied that with $860 to pay out, I was actually hoping to save a few dollars....and besides, I was only approximately a 4-5 minute drive from them. Anyway, after I got out of the taxi and paid their fee, I picked up my car and drove home...
